The company had done everything right for three decades. Its reputation was real. Its customers were loyal. And it was completely invisible to the AI systems a growing share of those customers were using to find contractors. Meanwhile a competitor with 2 years of history and a fraction of the reputation was the one getting recommended. UNBACKED was built to close that gap—especially given that businesses with complete semantic profiles see a 4.2x increase in AI citations—to take the home service businesses that earned their market over years of real work and make sure the infrastructure matches the reputation.
